Marigolden's Resident Artist, Derek Shaw, is a San Diego native with a passion for organic form. He's inspired by the Cuyamaca Mountains and the site-specific sculptures of Andy Goldsworthy.

 

A lover of textiles, textures, and geometric shapes, he expresses his quirky worldview through bold collages and watercolor paintings, exploring the intersection of disparate elements.
